User Data

When you interact with the Cogit Security bot or dashboard, we may collect the following:

• Discord User ID: Your unique Discord identifier, used to track preferences, premium status, and applications.
• Username & Display Name: Your Discord handle, used for display purposes in the dashboard and staff-facing tools.
• Avatar: Your Discord profile picture, displayed in the dashboard and review panels.
• OAuth2 Session: Temporary session data stored in encrypted cookies when you log into the dashboard via Discord OAuth2.

Server & Guild Data

When the bot is active in a Discord server, we collect limited server-level data to operate its security features:

• Server ID & Name: Used to identify and configure the bot's behavior per server.
• Channel & Role IDs: Stored as part of the bot's security configuration (e.g., log channels, protected roles).
• Member Information: Member IDs and roles are read in real-time to enforce security rules. This data is not persistently stored beyond active configuration.
• Interaction Logs: If a command causes an error, we log the command type and error context only — not the full content or who ran it — solely for debugging purposes.

Service-Specific Data

• Premium Subscription Data: If you are a premium subscriber, we store your subscription type, the server it is applied to, and the expiration date.
• Bug Hunter Applications: If you apply to the Bug Hunter Program, we store your application details and review status.
• Career Applications: If you apply to any open role (Partnerships, Promoter, Scout), we store your application and its processing status.
• Review Data: Public feedback you submit through our platform is stored and may be displayed publicly.

To Deliver the Services

We use your data to operate the bot's security features, manage dashboard access, process premium subscriptions, and power all platform functionality.

To Maintain Platform Security

We monitor interaction data to detect abuse, protect our infrastructure, enforce our Terms of Service, and ensure the safety of all users and Discord servers using the bot.

To Improve the Bot

Anonymized interaction and error data is used to identify bugs, improve command reliability, and develop new security features.

To Process Applications

Application data submitted through the Bug Hunter Program or career roles is used solely to review eligibility, track status, and communicate decisions.

Data Sharing

• Data may be shared between internal Cogit Development services where necessary — for example, premium verification across the bot and dashboard.

• We retain your data only as long as necessary to deliver the Services or as required by law.
• Server data is deleted automatically when the bot is removed from a Discord server.
• Premium data is retained for a limited period after subscription cancellation before permanent deletion.
• Application data is retained for the duration of the review process and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping.
• You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

• Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: You may request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data.

FiveM Shop

Our FiveM resource shop is operated through Tebex at cogit-fivem.tebex.io, embedded on our site. All purchase transactions, payment information, and account data for the shop are handled exclusively by Tebex. We do not directly collect or store any payment or purchase data. Tebex's own privacy policy governs the data collected during those transactions.

To Display Client Reviews

Discord review data (username, avatar, content) is displayed on cogitdev.net so prospective clients can evaluate our services based on real feedback from past projects.

To Operate & Maintain the Website

Technical log data is used to monitor website performance, diagnose errors, and maintain the security of cogitdev.net.

To Deliver Development Services

When you commission a project through our Discord server — such as a custom Discord bot, web application, FiveM resource, or Discord server setup — we use the information you share in our communications to scope, build, and deliver your project.

FiveM Shop (Tebex)

Our FiveM shop is powered by Tebex. When you make a purchase through cogit-fivem.tebex.io, your data is processed and stored by Tebex under their own privacy policy. We receive only the information necessary to fulfill your order (e.g., Discord ID for license delivery).

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your data to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Cogit Development and our users.

• Review data fetched from Discord is cached temporarily in memory and is not persistently stored to a database. It is refreshed periodically from the source Discord channel.
